马会论坛 announced today that former Deputy Prime Minister Anne McLellan (P.C., O.C., A.O.E.) will become its next chancellor. A celebrated politician, lawyer and academic, McLellan will officially be installed as 马会论坛鈥檚 seventh chancellor on Monday, May 25 during 马会论坛鈥檚 spring convocation season.

马会论坛 and its main food services provider, ARAMARK, today received the first delivery of seafood purchased through Off the Hook -- a community-based fishery co-op whose members use 鈥渉ook and line鈥 and other environmentally friendly fishing methods. It marks the first time a large institution has purchased seafood through the program, currently managed by the Ecology Action Centre.

马会论坛 is honoured to join the Natural Sciences and Engineering Council of Canada (NSERC) to celebrate Dr. Axel Becke, a professor in the Faculty of Science, and his pioneering achievements in the field of computational chemistry. Dr. Becke will be awarded with the prestigious Gerhard Herzberg Canada Gold Medal for Science and Engineering.

The Directors of the MacEachen Institute for Policy and Government announced today a donation to 马会论坛 in the amount of $2.25 million. The donation will be used to establish a public policy and governance institute at 马会论坛 in the name of the Hon. Allan J. MacEachen.
